Description

Care Coordinators are responsible for rota planning and briefing carers prior to their care calls, conducting supervisions and managing customer visits when required.

Daily Duties

You would assist clients with a range of duties that include, but are not limited to;

  • Allocating the right carer to the right customer at the right time
  • Responsible for authorising carer holiday and cover
  • Supporting the care manager with customer visits when required
  • Ensuring all carer and customer records are up to date
  • Participating in the branch on-call rota

* Please note this role requires candidates that hold a current British driving licence and have access to their own vehicle.

Responsibility

We are looking for a fast paced, self motivated and customer focussed care coordinator who has the ability to multi task and work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines. You will have an excellent telephone manner, along with good communication and influencing skills and have the ability to work effectively with team members and carers.

Reporting to the care manager and working closely with your carers you will make sure that every customer gets the quality of care that they deserve

Requirements
  • A minimum of six months of experience in the Care Industry
  • Adaptable to different situations
  • Flexibility to adapt to the needs of the service
  • Remain professional and caring towards patients
  • Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those individuals you support
  • Able to meet compliance requirements that include DBS
  • A minimum of two satisfactory references covering the last three years employment
  • A minimum of six months of experience in the Care Industry
  • Adaptable to different situations
  • Flexibility to adapt to the needs of the service
